Dancing Singing Sunflower

Dancing Singing Sunflower gives a familiar natural subject a sense of performance. Its title invites viewers to see a sunflower not only as a botanical form but also as an expressive presence full of rhythm and motion.

Kimberly Nichole Reising uses familiar imagery as an entry point to changing perception. In this piece, the relationship between form, gesture and pattern offers a playful contrast to the more architectural works in KNR Studio.

The artwork is presented within the studio’s mixed-media collection, alongside other images that invite viewers to discover more than one reading over time.
